A place to make.

People to make with.

Make at Rosie is for women, nonbinary makers, and allies. Come build what's in your head, and find your people while you do it.

What membership actually feels like

Not a class on the calendar. A place where your projects live.

Your Friday afternoon

You let yourself in. Two members are already at the big table. One's cutting acrylic on the laser. One's hand-sewing with a podcast in one ear.

You grab the project you left in your storage box and pick up where you stopped. Nobody's teaching a class. You're just making, next to people, the way you wish your kitchen table felt.

This is what membership is.

You're never stuck on your own

We're not a warehouse where you badge in and figure it out alone. We train you on every tool you want to use, and we'll sit down and walk through anything with you.

Our members show up for each other too. Someone will help you wrestle a machine or talk through an idea.

You just have to want to make something.

Come as often as life allows

Some members come every day. Some come once a week for one project. Some cowork from the big tables with a laptop and a craft side by side.

You pick how many visits you want each month and use them however you like. The woodshop, the laser, the 3D printers, the sewing machines, the full craft room.

It's all yours when you're here.

Why Rosie

Built for you

Centered on women, nonbinary makers, and allies. You won't be the only one in the room, and you won't get talked over or sized up.

Small on purpose

We're small enough that people know your name. That's the point. A creative home, not a room full of strangers and machines.

Easy to get to

Central, on Burnet Road. Kids under 10 are always free and don't use a visit, so you can make alongside your kid. Share visits with a friend or family too.

Loved a class? That's just the start.

A class teaches you the skill. Membership is where you keep going after it ends. The same tools, the same people, the room where you can actually build the thing you just learned into a real practice. No more learning something you love and then leaving it behind at the door.

Membership

Pick how often you want to come.

Every membership opens the full space. The only difference is how many visits you want each month.

Getting started

What happens after you join.

A few quick steps get you set up safely on the tools. Then the space is yours.

1

Come to orientation

Your first stop is a short orientation. We show you around, cover how the space works, and get you comfortable.

2

Get trained on your tools

We train you on every tool you want to use. Some, like the laser and the woodshop, need their own training before you go solo.

3

Make whatever you want

Once you're trained, the full space is open to you on every visit. Come in, grab your project, and make.

Heads up: you won't start a big project the same day you sign up. Training takes a little time, especially for the woodshop. It's worth it. It keeps everyone safe and the tools working.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have three membership tiers and a day pass option:

  • Tinkerer: $65/month, 3 visits per month
  • Creator: $90/month, 10 visits per month
  • Maker: $180/month, 25 visits per month
  • Day Pass: $40 per person, per visit

All memberships bill every 30 days. No contracts, cancel any time.

Yes. Each person in the space uses one of your monthly visits. So if you bring a friend for the day, that uses two of your visits for that month. Kids under 10 are always free and don't use a visit.

Make at Rosie does not require contracts. Your membership bills every 30 days, and you can cancel any time. Any unused punches expire at the end of the cancellation month, and we don't offer refunds on unused punches. Monthly passes are not refundable.

Classes may be refunded if you email hello@makeatrosie.com at least 72 hours before the class time.

Visits are monthly and don't roll over. If you cancel, any unused visits expire at the end of that billing period. That said, you can share your visits with friends or family, so unused visits don't have to go to waste.

  • Craft room supplies: Free for members to use for personal projects. Paint, paper, embroidery floss, beads, jewelry-making supplies, and more.
  • Vinyl, acrylic, and 3D printing materials: Available for purchase on-site. Pricing varies by material.
  • Your own materials: You're always welcome to bring whatever you need for your project, as long as it's safe to use in the space.

Absolutely, a lot of our members do. The space has large work tables, good light, and a creative vibe. Bring your laptop, work on your projects, or do both. One visit covers the whole day.

Not always, and we're upfront about that. But you're never on your own. We train you on every tool you want to use, and a founder is always happy to sit down and walk through something with you. Our members also show up for each other. Someone will help you wrestle a machine or talk through an idea. You don't have to be an expert to feel at home here.

Membership and Day Pass pricing covers access to the craft room, 3D printers, and Silhouette Cameo. A few things to know:

  • Glowforge laser: Included for members. Day Pass holders can add laser access for $20, with training required before first use.
  • Woodshop: Members only. Not available on a Day Pass.
  • Classes: Ticketed separately, but members get 10% off all classes, workshops, and events.

Each visit gives you access to everything in the space. The woodshop, Glowforge laser, 3D printers, sewing machines, vinyl cutters, and the full craft room. High-demand tools like the Glowforge are limited to 4 hours per visit so everyone gets a turn. Woodshop access is for monthly members only and isn't available on a Day Pass.

Orientation is a free, roughly 30-minute session where you'll tour the space, go over the membership agreement, and get set up to start booking. You can also schedule free training on any tool during or after your orientation. It's offered most Monday evenings, but we're flexible. Just reach out and we'll find a time that works.

A visit is open studio time. You come in, work on your own projects, and use whatever tools you need. A class has an instructor leading a group through a specific skill or project. Classes are ticketed separately, but all members get 10% off every class, workshop, and event.

Classes are ticketed separately from membership visits. But as a member you get 10% off every class, workshop, and event we run, so your membership always saves you money on classes.

Absolutely. We have plenty of events where you can see the space in action. Check our upcoming events page, or email hello@makeatrosie.com and we'll set up a tour.

Please don't just drop by. We're not open to the public, only members and class attendees, and there won't be anyone there to let you in. The space is only accessible to members and registered event attendees.
