Keep local making alive in Austin.

You don't have to come in. You just have to believe a place like this should exist.

Austin keeps losing its good places.

Rent climbs. Chains move in. One by one, the local spots that make this city feel like home turn off the lights. Make at Rosie has become a home away from home for creatives around the city, and we plan to stay.

If you care about local business, empowering makers, the arts, and communities, this is an easy way to back them all.

This is for the people who believe in places like Make at Rosie.

Maybe you're here every week. Maybe you came once and still think about it. Maybe you used to be a member but can't make it work with your schedule. Maybe you're a few states away and just like knowing we exist. It all counts the same. Being a member of the Riveter Club is about believing in the place, not clocking hours in it.

But we need your help.

Running a space like this in Austin right now is not easy. Rent doesn't stop climbing because you're doing good work. Tools break. Insurance goes up. The city keeps getting more expensive, and the kind of place that makes room for everyone is usually the first kind of place that can't afford to stay.

We're not going anywhere. But we're also not going to pretend it's simple. The Riveter Club exists because we'd rather ask the people who love this place to help us keep it than watch it become another thing Austin used to have. So here we are, asking. And if you've ever been glad a place like this exists — this is how you help make sure it still does.

A quick word on Rosie.

Make at Rosie is a community makerspace on Burnet Road. We're built around women, nonbinary makers, and the people who root for them. We teach, we share tools, and we make room for folks who were never told they could build things. Then we hand them the drill.

A few honest answers

Questions

Is my support tax deductible?

No. Make at Rosie is a small local business, not a nonprofit, so this isn't a donation. You're backing a place you love and getting a few perks for it.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no calls to make. Stop whenever you want.

I don't live in Austin. Is this for me?

Especially you. Plenty of our supporters will never walk through the door. That's the whole point.

Do I have to come in to get my money's worth?

Nope. The wall, the notes, and the good feeling travel just fine.

What if I don't want my name listed?

Of course. Use the opt-out box when you sign up.
