Kid's Needle Felting Workshop: Pocket Pets

Got a kid who loves making things? Bring them to Make at Rosie for a hands-on afternoon with Kristin Roadhouse of Roadhouse Creatives, where they'll learn the basics of needle felting and sculpt colorful wool into an adorable pocket pal of their choice. Grown-ups, you're part of the fun too (more on that below).

🧶 What You'll Do

  • Learn the fundamentals of needle felting in a kid-friendly, step-by-step way

  • Choose your project base/pet and bring it to life

  • Sculpt and shape colorful wool roving into your very own design

👥 Who Can Join?

  • Kids ages 5+ with an adult present (adults attend free!)

  • No experience needed: this is a perfect first fiber craft

  • Heads up: needle felting uses a small, sharp barbed needle, so this one calls for a little extra hands-on help from your grown-up

🧃 Additional Details

  • Adults, we've got you: enjoy coffee and a comfy spot to relax, or bring your own craft to work on while the kids create. Or, if you want to make your own pocket pet, buy an extra ticket and tap into your own inner child!

  • Limited to 15 young makers so everyone gets plenty of help from Kristin

Give your kiddo the thrill of making something with their own two hands (and give yourself a cozy Sunday afternoon while you're at it). Reserve your spots today!
