Embroidery 101 Workshop

Looking to add some flair to your fabric? Ever wanted to try embroidery, but did not know where to start? Join fiber artist Madeline of Snarkily Adorable for a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop designed to spark creativity and stitch confidence. Whether you are brand new or just need a refresher, we have everything you need to get started.

🧵 What You’ll Do

  • Learn and practice core beginner stitches: back stitch, straight stitch, lazy daisy, and French knot

  • Set up your hoop and choose between a sampler piece or your own stitched design

  • Receive step-by-step classroom instruction plus one-on-one coaching

  • Begin creating your own take-home hoop art, and finish in class or complete at home with your new skills

🎨 All Materials Provided

  • Embroidery hoop, threads, needles, sampler pattern, fabric, and teacher guidance are all included

  • No need to bring anything (unless you want to show off your favorite thimble!)

👥 Who Can Join?

  • Open to ages 13 and up (minors must attend with a ticketed guardian)

  • No prior experience needed; totally beginner-friendly

  • All materials provided and all experience levels welcome

🍷 Additional Details

  • Evening session for relaxed, creative vibes

  • BYOB: bring your favorite drinks and snacks if you like. Creativity pairs well with your beverage of choice.

  • Workshop takes place at Make at Rosie, which is air-conditioned and has free parking

  • All are welcome in a supportive, inclusive atmosphere
